The curricular unit works in a mixed regime, with initial sessions in person, with all students enrolled and the Head of the curricular unit, followed by a mentoring and organizational experience.
Organizational experience: School schedules are designed to allow students one (1) day per week, entirely dedicated to the design of the project, preferably by working on the premises of the company, if it deems appropriate.
Tutoring Regime: The support provided by the teachers-counsellors, is carried out in a tutorial regime, weekly, in sessions scheduled for this purpose, and conditioned by the students' school schedules and the availability of the teachers.
The Project should be elaborated in groups, preferably of 3 elements, and with a maximum of 4 elements.
Whenever possible, depending on the specific competences and areas of specialization of the faculty members assigned to the unit, it is up to the uc responsible to assign the guiding principles according to the themes of the projects by groups of students.

Assessment methodologies and evidences

The approval in the u.c is obtained by preparing a written report of the Project, an oral presentation by the working group, and discussion before a jury that includes the advisor and the person in charge of the u.c.
If they are interested, those responsible for monitoring the work carried out in the host organizations may be invited to attend the evaluation test.

The assessment of knowledge consists of:
• Preparation of a written Project Report, with a maximum of 35 pages, excluding appendices and annexes.
• Presentation and discussion of the Project before a jury composed of 2 elements, integrating the person in charge of the curricular unit and the teacher-advisor.

The constitution of the groups must be sent to the head of the curricular unit until February 24.
The indication of the company selected (for each group), the theme, and the summary of the problem to be analyzed, must be proposed until 1 March and sent by email to the person in charge of the discipline.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Only after sending and analyzing this information by the person responsible, are the TEACHERS-counselors ALLOCATED to each GROUP of students.
It should be noted that the current school year is only 9 weeks, so it is recommended to strictly comply with the deadline indicated above.
