Intended learning outcomes (Knowledges, skills and competencies to be developed by the students)
• To understand the social and citizenship questions that Colective Labour Law and Social Security Law intend to develop and protect;
• To know and understand the main questions raised in the sphere of action of collective bargaining;
• To know and interpret the basic diplomas of Colective Labour Law and Social Security Law and their intervention in real cases.

Demonstration of the syllabus coherence with the UC intended learning outcomes
This Curricular Unit aims at familiarizing students, especially, with the Collective Labour Law and some aspects of Social Security Law.
Teaching methodologies
Theoretical and practical: theoretical knowledge is administered by oral presentation supported with slides in powerpoint file type previously sent to students. In order to complete with theory has produced a book of practical exercises to support the UC that were resolved in class.
Continuous assessment includes two written individual tests. Final assessment consists of a written individual exam.
Demonstration of the teaching methodologies coherence with the curricular unit's intended learning outcomes
The teaching methodologies are selected based on the learning goals of the Curricular Unit, which combines theoretical and practical classes, the first, based on a lecture and interrogative method, particularly knowledge and understanding and the latter aims to operationalize the concepts and is based on practical problem solving.
On the other hand, practical classes are based on a participatory approach in which concepts are operationalized mostly through practical cases and the use of law tools and techniques that provide a consolidation of knowledge and enable the development of skills for its implementation.
The Curricular Unit of Labour Law II aims to contribute to the development of the following skills:
• Knowledge and understanding of the process and instruments of collective bargaining, as social indispensable source in society and to organizations;
• Understanding of the constitutional fundaments of Colective Labour Law and Social Security Law, mainly in rights, obligations and guarantees written at Portuguese Republic Constitution;
• Knowledge of the fundament of rights to participate and create workers collective structures, by those who are subjects of the juridical labour relations;
• Know articulate the labour rights and obligations with social security regimes.
Attendance system
Continuous evaluation:
• Conducting two (2) Tests; Final Score = 0.50 (1st test) + 0.50 (2nd test)
Or,
• Conducting two (2) Tests and one (1) Paper; Final Score = 0.40 (1st test) + 0.40 (2nd test) + 0.20 (Paper)
If the grade of each test is lower than 7.5 points or the average of the final grade is less than 10 points, the student will have to make a final evaluation.
Final Evaluation: normal, appeal and special season; If the exam grade is less than 10, there will be no approval.
