To Increase the students level of economic literacy.
To understand and use the concepts and economic instruments at the micro level.
To evaluate the role of the state in the economy and its impact on economic operators.
To discuss the functioning of various markets forms.

1.4 - Consumer behavior and the impact of changes in the price and yield

II - MICROECONOMICS
2.1 - Supply and behavior of business organizations. (Producer)
2.2 – The equilibrium of Perfect Competition Markets.
2.3 - The equilibrium of monopoly markets
2.4 - The equilibrium and Competition of Oligopoly Markets


Demonstration of the syllabus coherence with the UC intended learning outcomes

The study of basic conceit allows to students to understand better the economy as a whole system.
The study of consumer and company behavior jointly with State intervention will allow students to understand the functioning of all market operators.
The equilibrium study of all markets allow students to understand their basis of functioning.

Teaching methodologies

In the lectures will be used a combination of exposition and inquiring method, based on a set of materials that form the basis for discussion in each class time. At the same time, it is recommended to carry out training records, in order to monitor student learning.
The classes are based on problem solving from a notebook designed by teachers and small news or case discussion.

Demonstration of the teaching methodologies coherence with the curricular unit's intended learning outcomes

Verification of knowledge at the beginning of each lesson allows building up their knowledge and
understanding. Three assessment tests allow division of subjects and encourage continuous study during the semester.

In the case of student workers with properly established situation and unable to participate in the lessons of the participation will be transferred to the test portion. So the final score is

Attendance system

The evaluation will be conducted throughout the semester, including:
i) Two written tests without 1 hour consultation (T1 and T2);
iii) Class participation (PA)
