Intended learning outcomes (Knowledges, skills and competencies to be developed by the students)

Students at the end of the course, must:
• Have knowledge and understanding of the theoretical foundations that shape the different conceptual systems and organizational models of economic institutions;
• Identify the organizational function as a function and responsibility of management;
• Understand the nature and relevance of the "organizational" function and frame the institutions as organizational systems;
• Conduct a diagnosis, evaluating and architect the structure and functioning of organizational model of any economic institution;
• Understand the importance of structural capital and intellectual capital of the economic institution;
• Identify some information technology that supports and flexibilizes the functioning of economic institutions

Teaching methodologies

In relation to theoretical foundations, an expository approach will be used with the presentation of examples, case studies and analogies for understanding the various program contents, encouraging reflection, analysis and critical thinking.
In practical classes a participatory approach will be adopted encouraging students to participation and discussion of examples in promoting autonomy.
This methodology seeks active participation by analyzing and solving real cases in the field of knowledge, being guided in finding solutions.
With regard to tutorial component this methodology will focus on monitoring the exercises and case studies presented and the work to be done throughout the semester.
Continuous assessment includes two individual written tests and group work. Final assessment includes an individual written exam.
