Objetivos de aprendizagem

The curricular unit aims to be an opportunity for direct contact/continuing with professional exercise,
developing employability, relationships with colleagues/managers in real world of work and the ability to reflect
on their own experiences. Would also be an opportunity to develop skills in scientific research.
The skills developed in the Internship or Applied Organisational Project are:
• Ability to integrate into an organization or to develop a project in an organisational environment
• Ability to relate to colleagues and superiors
• Ability to perform activities of their own professional field under the guidance of others
• Ability to act with ethics and sense of responsibility
• Ability to reflect on their own work
• Ability to do scientific and technological research

Contents

Taking into account the objectives and responsibilities set out, the Internship report or project report should
take into account the specific context, objectives and activities of each internship or each specific project.

Internship report should address the following issues: characterization of the objectives and the organizational
context in which internship took place; description and analysis of activities undertaken during the internship;
reflection on internship contribution to personal and professional development.

Project report should address the following issues: discussion of the theoretical approach that fits the
problem; defining study methodology; presentation and discussion of empirical results; addendum to reflect
project contribution on personal and professional development student.


Teaching Procedures

Internship - training in the real work context, under tutorial guidance with an official of the host organization, in
order to apply and develop scientific, technical and professional skills.

Tutorial Guidance - individual scientific/educational sessions, aimed to monitor and guid development skills,
through specific topic discussions, presentation and discussion of the students project’s.

The Internship or Applied Organizational Project aims to be an opportunity for direct and continuous contact
with the professional field to develop employability and scientific research skills. Thus, Internship
Methodology and Tutorial Guidance represent privileged interaction forms between teachers and students in
order to apply and develop scientific, technical and professional skills, using learning strategies, to negotiate
specific objectives to be achieved and to solve problems inherent in the learning process.

Final Classification

The Internship will last from three months (exactly 90 days) a full time.
Internship report should address the following issues: characterization of the objectives and the organizational context in which internship took place; description and analysis of activities undertaken during the internship; reflection on internship contribution to personal and professional development.
At the end of Internship period will be featured and discussed a final report in a public session, according with rules established in College of Business and Administration, and the organization must fill the trainee's performance evaluation document.
