Objective:
Reveal autonomy in approaching and solving problems.

Program Contents:
The practical application of theoretical notions in the performance of style exercises or in shooting situations with pre-established restrictions, encourages the student to observe, analyze and create the solution. The student, confronted with the result and taking into account the transformation of the original concept shaped by the decisions taken in response to the conditions he encountered, develops the ability to identify, confirm and question or not the procedures and their consequences.

Objective:
Communicate and interact with others by promoting productive work environments.

Program Contents:
The productive cicle of cinema;
Specific teams and tasks;
Management of human and material resources;

The management of different concepts, ideas and methodologies of work among students will enable the sharing of knowledge and diversity of answers to problem solving.

Objective:
Develop audiovisual projects according to the principles of audiovisual organization and expression.

Teaching methodologies

The methodology is based on the presentation of contents and theoretical-practical fundamentals with support to audiovisual and bibliographic resources and the practice of shooting exercises, in order to consolidate technical and artistic knowledge.
The presentation of theoretical contents will be followed by exercises / demonstrations carried out by the students. Thus, the technical domain will reinforce the theoretical knowledge, and the regularity of the practice will force the evolution of the language in technical and artistic level.
Progress in the achievement of content produced by the student will be monitored and evaluated continuously.

Demonstration of the teaching methodologies coherence with the curricular unit's intended learning outcomes

An audiovisual production is essentially a team effort. Any student in this curricular unit, in order to produce content, must adapt and experiment with working methods and find workflows that work for different situations, and for this he needs to communicate and interact with others to achieve collaborative and productive work environments.
The regular practice of shooting exercises allows to internalize the technological domain but, also, forces the confrontation with situations of diverse conditions. The student, in search of solutions, both in design and execution, triggers processes of approach and problem solving.
Critical analysis of the work in progress and finalized work provides for growth and collective learning. The group works as an enlightened focus group and specializes in analyzing the content and assessing the adequacy of technical and artistic decisions.

Assessment methodologies and evidences

The evaluation is continuous and will have the following weighting:

Technical control of the means of production - 20%
Individual tests and exercises - 25%
Performance of roles and team collaboration - 15%
Group audiovisual product - 25%
Levels of involvement, relevant participation and attendance - 15%

Attendance system

Students who do not attend at least 75% of the practical classes will be excluded from the final evaluation.

Observations

Students with a special status and who can not attend regularly the Curricular Unit may be evaluated on a continuous assessment basis, after negotiation with the U.C faculty member. This negotiation may result in the definition of elements and moments of evaluation different from those presented in this program.
Students with normal status who do not obtain a grade in the assessment or who do not attend the course will be evaluated by a practical exam (on all contents exposed in this program), to be taken on a date to be defined by the ESE / IPS Board.
