Demonstration of the syllabus coherence with the UC intended learning outcomes

The topics syllabus focus on theoretical approach (sociology of action / research-action) and methodological (Design of action-research projects) that will allow students to read and understand existing projects and master the knowledge necessary to design and carry out a project intervention in the area of Sociocultural Animation.

Teaching methodologies

- Analysis and discussion of texts on research methodologies and on research-action.
- Analysis of texts on the subject (chosen annually) in which the project will focus.
- Development Workgroup of a relevant project for one (or more) institution (s) with a social mission / cultural / educational district (in partnership).
- Presentation and discussion of the projects prepared by students to teachers of the course and
members invited community (jury).
- Collective reconstruction (in the classroom) project based on the different proposals of the groups
- Development of a set of project activities, the most relevant and achievable.
- Monitoring of the work that is being developed in the field
- Final evaluation of the project.

Demonstration of the teaching methodologies coherence with the curricular unit's intended learning outcomes

It seeks that students do not have contact only with the methodological texts on the development, implementation and evaluation of intervention projects undoubtedly an important benchmark of their training, but also learn through practice, why they are integrated or collaborate with one or more community institutions have to develop appropriate tools to the different stages of development of a project. They learn how to collect data, analyze them and work them in the genesis of building a socio-cultural animation project sized for a calendar year. The execution of a part of the project, since the school timing does not allow the full realization, skills are tested essential in the planning, the animation techniques, communication with the public, the reflection on the work done.

Assessment methodologies and evidences

- Group Project Design - 30%
- Participation in animating collective project 40% (20% + 20% individual performance and the working group)
- Individual memory project-20%
- Participation in classes and workshops - 10%

Attendance system

Compulsory attendance to 75% of the classes / workshops, 50% for student workers.
