Intended learning outcomes (Knowledges, skills and competencies to be developed by the students)

1. To Know the diversity of local services that require support at home and the diversity of tasks involved
2. Understand the reasons that have emerged from the home support services
3. Know the various social responses of home support
3. Understand the home support according to the needs of different sectors of the population (children, youth and adults with special needs, the elderly).
4. Understand the specificity of interpersonal relationship that is established at home and their individualized nature
5. Mastering specific techniques to support certain needs and sectors of the population
6. Know organize a promotional activity plan and support the development of personal skills

4. The involvement of the population in the home support services

5. The role of formal and informal caregivers in the home support services

6. The role of the family in the home support services


Demonstration of the syllabus coherence with the UC intended learning outcomes

The contents were developed in close connection with the objectives of the program allowing the acquisition of knowledge and skills in the specific area of support at home.
This course and its contents are linked with the general objectives of CTeSP in which it operates.

Teaching methodologies

- Documental analysis and written production of short texts;
- Visits to local services with home support responses;
- Discussion / Discussion in small and large group.

Demonstration of the teaching methodologies coherence with the curricular unit's intended learning outcomes

Teaching methodology will be developed in close connection with the context by considering that content will be facilitated by the knowledge of the places.
This joint will be properly supported by all the theoretical and legal framework on the subject.

Assessment methodologies and evidences

1. Attendance and Participation (10%)
2. Work done in class context / Critical reflections (10%)
3. Report on visits to social responses - work done in pairs - (40%)
4. Field work - peer work - (40%)

Attendance system

Taking into account the specificity of training and the high percentage of UC technical training, attendance of students is governed by a minimum of 75% attendance to UCs, if this Tesp is defined as 75% attendance in classes application, except for students with special status (Article 24 of the RFA).
