Intended learning outcomes (Knowledges, skills and competencies to be developed by the students)

Students are expected to be able to:

1. know the dynamics of services that support children and seniors: daycare; kindergarten; Home support for the elderly; Support for children with SEN;
2. interact with family and community members;
3. communicate and collaborate with cooperating professionals;
4. know how to use pedagogical foundation in the construction of your intervention;
5. develop skills of observation and critical analysis of the practices observed, based on general knowledge of Pedagogy of Childhood and aging;
6. to know and know how to apply the social intervention planning methodologies in support of the family;

  • reveal your ability to reflect on actual situations and your own professional practice.

    Demonstration of the syllabus coherence with the UC intended learning outcomes

    The programmatic contents that aim at the great objective of the UC: the development of a personal project of the trainees.

    Teaching methodologies

    The UC is developed around project work that will explore research topics, which will be presented and discussed throughout the semester.

    It is intended that students participate in the presentation and debate of their projects of action

    Assessment methodologies and evidences

    The discussion of the report is done on a mentoring basis.
    It is expected that each student:
    (A) is assiduous and punctual; (B) participate in the preparatory discussion of the internship; (C) be prepared to foresee problems and present solutions; (D) perform the work programmed on internship program E) prepare and present the report and the internship dossier.
    The evaluation parameters are given to the entity that provides the Internship and presented to the students in the preparatory sessions of the Internship.
