Intended learning outcomes (Knowledges, skills and competencies to be developed by the students)

It is intended with this UC to provide students knowledge of the anatomy and function of the human body, allowing its use in practical situations within the physical and sporting activities.
Master the terminology used within the anatomy and physiology of the human body.
Interpret correctly the settings of Anatomy and Physiology concepts leading to the realization of the various organic functions of the human body.
Use with knowledge and objectivity the various methods of evaluation of the main parameters of the effort.
Relate the theoretical knowledge acquired to practical situations.

Demonstration of the syllabus coherence with the UC intended learning outcomes

The UC "Anatomy and I" is intended to convey a set of knowledge aimed at enabling the students to the field of interpretive structures and basics of operation of the various systems of the human body, knowledge essential for the future of sports professionals, daily confronted with this problem

Teaching methodologies

The approach of the syllabus will be made through classes of expository nature of the presentation and discussion of issues on the part of students and through classes geared towards raising issues and the development of practical studies.

The process shall involve: (a) exposure of subjects by the teacher; (b) the reading and analysis of scientific texts; (d) the carrying out of works written and/or oral presentations.
Face-to-face support and distance learning research orientation of the topics under study and on completion of works written and/or oral presentations.

Demonstration of the teaching methodologies coherence with the curricular unit's intended learning outcomes

It is intended that students have an active participation in the acquisition of knowledge. So, in addition to the lectures, students are urged to develop, individually or in groups, the issues addressed in the lectures. This course requires students to use the knowledge of every subject area in an integrated and applied. So, the written test (s) (s) visa (m) assess theoretical knowledge; the realization of works written and/or oral presentations, aims to evaluate the integration of knowledge into a coherent knowledge and solid body.

Assessment methodologies and evidences

Continuous assessment and examination in case of non approval at this stage.
The work developed at UC will be object of: I) process evaluation (35%): application of two chips (17.5% each plug) that will focus on the programmatic content developed, and 5% in valuing a total attendance of lessons laid down, and II) product evaluation (60%) resulting from the performance of the student in a written test (minimum is of 8 values).
The sum of the component I and II component will define the classification to the final note of UC.

Attendance system

Each student is expected to: (a) be present in at least 75% of the classes and participate in the discussion of the issues under review, as well as in the implementation of the proposed work; (b) read the bibliography support and be prepared to analyze and discuss the topics presented; (c) perform the tasks, and the work programmed, with clarity and precision the appropriation of knowledge on the subject.
