Demonstration of the syllabus coherence with the UC intended learning outcomes

The intent of the course contents is to provide the learning necessary for students to achieve the expected objectives. The theoretical concepts and practices to develop in class activities allow students to develop knowledge and be able to perform the essential actions to anyone who has to develop a website with the quality required for their publication to a specific audience.

Teaching methodologies

The work under this course will focus on the active participation of students in work either individually or in a workgroup looking for the deepening of knowledge related to the design and publishing of products for the Web. Classes are organized into four components:
a) reading, discussion and analysis of texts;
b) resolution of practical activities;
c) working groups which will comprise the design and development of a prototype of a site;
d) presentation and discussion of projects (group work).

Demonstration of the teaching methodologies coherence with the curricular unit's intended learning outcomes

The four work components of the course provide workplace diversity and variety of situations. Students who participate in this unit should be involved in individual and group activities, which will promote, on the one hand, the appropriation of theoretical concepts and knowledge of website design tools, and secondly, the development of individual and teamwork skills.
The reading and discussion of texts allow students to acquire theoretical knowledge, the practical activities allow the acquisition of skills in the use of appropriate software to build websites, design, development and presentation of a project allows students to implement the theoretical knowledge and skills above, applied to a specific situation and in the context of their academic activities.

Assessment methodologies and evidences

The evaluation will be done through student participation in class, through the resolution of the practical proposals and their involvement in design, preparation and presentation of a small project work.
The final grade will take into account the following weights:

Participation in classes and resolution of practical activities - 40%
Participation in thematic debates - 10%
Design and discussion of the final project - 10%
Elaboration of the final work project - 20%
Final Project Report 10%
Presentation and discussion of the Work Project - 10%
