Intended learning outcomes (Knowledges, skills and competencies to be developed by the students)

Knowing the principles and technical foundations, pedagogical and methodological devenvolver to the planning process of physical and sporting activity in different areas of sport.

Mastering the process of design, monitoring and evaluation of programs and intervention projects in different areas and contexts of recreational and sports.

Dominate the educational intervention process in physical and sports activities in different areas and sports contexts. Flatten the basis of a strategy for dealing with parents and guardians.

Syllabus

a) Theoretical physical activity and sport fundamentals. Concept and scope of Sport Pedagogy.

b) The motivation in sport.

c) The effectiveness and success in teaching sport (ex .: analysis of the model of the pedagogical relationship in sports, the coach's behavior - successful coaches). Teaching styles in physical education.

d) Stadiums professional development process of a teacher and / or coach.

e) Methodological bases for planning and action in the area of ​​physical activity and sport. The importance of parents in physical activity and sport.

1. Sport in planning process
1.1. Projects, programs and activities: The general, specific and operational objectives.
1.2. Planning steps (selection and systematization of content, selection of activities, action strategies.
1.3. The session structure: preparatory or initial part, a fundamental part and final part.
1.4. Plans to medium, short and long term.
1.5. training cycles / teaching units.
1.6. The session driving: Technical Pedagogical Intervention (TIP) in sports (size, education, climate, management and discipline).
1.7. The evaluation and control of the intervention process: conceptions, methods and tools.

2. Teaching Process Analysis
2.1. Note, sample types, units of observation and recording methods.
2.2. Observation Systems (ex .: System Manager behavior observation and athlete - SOTA; class time analysis - ATA; teacher / coach's behavior, student / athlete behavior, pedagogical feedback, climate class, value activities proposals, inappropriate behavior).


Demonstration of the syllabus coherence with the UC intended learning outcomes

Expresses ownership and use of knowledge on the different themes addressed through the production of the proposed work. At the end of the work the expected competencies are situated around the following areas: (a) shows the appropriation of theoretical knowledge about different issues addressed; (B) use of careful and reasoned manner, the acquired knowledge in practical situations character / applied; (C) shows bibliographical research and analysis capacity in performing works written and / or oral presentations.

Teaching methodologies

Expository approach and overview of the methodological bases of design, monitoring and evaluation plans and physical and sports activities programs for different levels and sports contexts. Design and discussion of methodological proposals for intervention in Sport in different contexts. It is expected that each student is present in 75% of classes and participate in the discussion of the issues involved, as well as in individual and group work that may be requested.

Demonstration of the teaching methodologies coherence with the curricular unit's intended learning outcomes

It is intended that students have an active participation in the process, through the development of skills related to the acquisition of knowledge and its application of careful and judicious way to practical situations. Thus, in addition to lectures, students are asked to develop, individually or in group, theoretical and practical work / applied on the matter. This discipline wants students to use the knowledge addressed in an integrated and applied fashion.

Assessment methodologies and evidences

Participation - 5%.

Peer Teaching - 15%.

Research - 20%.

Test 1 - 30%.

Test 2 - 30%.

Attendance system

It is expected that each student is present in 75% (50% for students with special statutes) classes and participate in the proposed activities, running scheduled jobs.
