Intended learning outcomes (Knowledges, skills and competencies to be developed by the students)

Understand, mobilize and justify concepts and procedures related with the topic "Number and Operations". Solve problems using knowledge of numbers and of number systems, using different ways to represent numbers and using relationships between them.
Understanding the meaning of operations between numbers and how they relate to each other, mobilizing this knowledge in different situations.
Demonstrate the ability to connect ideas, concepts and mathematical procedures.
Communicate clearly and consistently, mobilizing knowledge on the topic "Number and Operations". Demonstrate ability to questioning of reality and knowledge.
Develop and evaluate mathematical arguments related with the theme, using various types of reasoning and methods of proof.

Syllabus

Demonstration of the syllabus coherence with the UC intended learning outcomes

"Numbers and operations" is a key theme in the mathematics curriculum.
The study of this theme involves understanding the concept of number, of different representations of numbers and the aspects related to the operations and their properties.
It is essential that students are able, in the context of problem solving, mobilize concepts and procedures associated with this topic that will be a key building block of his mathematical knowledge for teaching in Primary Education

Teaching methodologies

Work processes include: (a) resolution of the proposed tasks, (b) reading, discussion and analysis of articles considered structuring of this CU.
Students will use different tools to develop some topics, including the spreadsheet.
The tutorial support, individual support or group support, consists in the orientation and organization of the student study to deepen the themes and answering questions posed by students and can be done in person or distance.
The evaluation will focus on the work done over the course unit and on two individual written

Demonstration of the teaching methodologies coherence with the curricular unit's intended learning outcomes

To build a solid knowledge on the theme “Numbers and operations” it is important that the methodologies to be used, actively involve students in the process of teaching and learning. Therefore, this CU is organized in (1) problem solving activities, focused on topics of “Number and operations” and (2) the discussion of texts that are streamlined by the teacher and the students.
