Demonstration of the syllabus coherence with the UC intended learning outcomes

With this CU, it is intended that students deepen concepts related to knowledge and management of human groups, important in a course of this nature. This subject, although previously addressed in the UC Interpersonal Relations, is taken up here with other study and intervention techniques with which the students had no contact. Interpersonal relationships are worked on, considering them in their current dimension, that is, in a world of multiple and diverse forms of connections, some of them especially interesting for analyzing the potential of civil society in terms of cohesion and social solidarity. The area of social networks is discussed here conceptually and from a multidimensional point of view, delving in depth, however, into the most significant social dimensions for the future profession, namely social networks within the scope of municipalities.

Teaching methodologies

Discussion in plenary and/or small groups based on information provided directly by the teacher or using texts and other materials;
¬Elaboration and interpretation of sociograms and analysis of intervention possibilities;
¬Viewing relevant audiovisual documents;
¬Collection of information and critical analysis on a network of cohesion and social solidarity¬ its objectives and work dynamics;
¬Seminars, visits and practical sessions with specialists: therapies and interpersonal development in groups, experiences of working in social networks of cohesion and social solidarity.

Demonstration of the teaching methodologies coherence with the curricular unit's intended learning outcomes

The methodology allows students to take ownership of the theoretical concepts - proposed through the teacher's exposition and the reading and debate of some reference texts. It is also proposed the conceptual contextualization in the professional area of the course through practical work: application of a sociometric test and respective analysis and intervention proposal; empirical research of a social network whose objective is cohesion and social well-being. The works are proposed to the students as the program develops, thus allowing the assessment to be built around these products that are fully shared and discussed in the class.
