The syllabus contents of the UC are intrinsically articulated with the learning objectives. Understanding the worlds of arts and culture in contemporary societies underpins the understanding of the different types of roles that arts and culture play in individual and collective subjectivation and creativity. In this way, objectives 1 relate to the thematic contents 1, objectives 2 to the theme and; objective 3 with theme 3 and objectives 4 and 5 as contents 1, 2 and 3.

Teaching methodologies

The work methodology is developed in the articulation of activities of a theoretical and theoretical-practical nature through seminars, in which the main problems underlying the conceptualization of Arts and Culture in contemporary societies and their relations with Communities are analyzed and debated. The process comprises information research, analysis, debate, group work, discussion and oral presentations, related to the topics covered. Emphasis is placed on research and analysis of research and intervention projects and discussion of theoretical approaches that could contribute to the theoretical framework of individual projects to be developed in the 2nd year of the master's degree.
The online sessions, of a theoretical-practical nature, are synchronous, with an expository component and small group work, on some of the fundamental concepts of the UC. Small group sessions will be held in simultaneous rooms (Zoom) followed by large group discussion. Some of the online sessions have the participation of guests from various parts of the country to share their knowledge in the area and/or their work experience.
Tutorial follow-up sessions (in person and online) enhance the guidance and support for the work programmed within the face-to-face component, or in the autonomous work carried out by the students.

Demonstration of the teaching methodologies coherence with the curricular unit's intended learning outcomes

The activities to be carried out aim to create conditions to promote learning and deepening of knowledge about the performing arts and creative processes, as well as participation in the construction of an original show with public presentation, involving different techniques, research, debate, experimentation and confrontation with the public that allow the integrated knowledge that is announced in the objectives and that includes multimodal knowledge, understanding, appropriation and creation.
The objectives are articulated in the aspects of creation, communication and fruition/consumption of shows with the methodologies of artistic practices, namely the games, the practice of creative writing applied to the script, the experiences of reflection on improvisations and body language, the construction and public presentation of a collective work.

Assessment methodologies and evidences

The assessment has the following weightings:
(a) attendance, quality and pertinence of participation in sessions (30%) and
(b) elaboration of a text on one of the themes of the program in the format of an article or communication following the norms of some reference magazines and congresses (70%).
