Syllabus

Demonstration of the syllabus coherence with the UC intended learning outcomes

The UC intends to create conditions for the realization of the research project/intervention of the students, encouraging their involvement in research relevant to the area of study. The theme of the dissertation/project must be appropriate to the Master's program, both in terms of difficulty and length.

Teaching methodologies

Tutorial Orientation: each student will have a supervisor, named among the teachers that make up the SC team. The tutorial orientation work will support decision-making throughout the research/intervention process, as well as its written concretization, assuring or complying with an ethical work and committed to quality and scientific criteria worked at the UC of Methodology of Research and Intervention (1st year) and Research and Project Seminar (2nd year).
The tutorial orientation sessions will be carried out face to face and remotely, synchronously (through Zoom and Teams platform).

Demonstration of the teaching methodologies coherence with the curricular unit's intended learning outcomes

The deepening of knowledge in a specific area of the course and the research capacity are developed through the individual efforts of the students throughout the process of carrying out their dissertation or project work, with tutorial guidance carried out by the advisor, being subject to the evaluation of the Final report and respective public defense. The individualization of the work does not exclude the insertion of students in CIEF research groups/teams, according to the themes to be studied. On the other hand, throughout the completion of the dissertation/project, the students have the opportunity to discuss/share collectively the development of their work, during the classes of the Research and Project Seminar (2nd year).
A public presentation and discussion will contribute to the development of the student's communication and argumentation capacity, which will also be the object of evaluation in the aforementioned test.

Assessment methodologies and evidences

The evaluation is carried out through a written work / report and respective presentation, with public defense before a jury.
