In order to implement the syllabus previously presented, the classes of this UC will have a theoretical and practical component. Based on the analysis of case studies, the aim is to ensure that students acquire the most relevant concepts. Issues related to the use of tools with emphasis on the CANVAS Business Model are addressed. Students are made aware of the importance of Entrepreneurship, in society in general and in the business context, in particular, including the social sector.
At the same time, a demonstrative and practical approach is taken, in which students are led to exercise the contents learned through the application of some tools, demonstrating, through the exercise, the importance of identifying business opportunities and the different functions of the tools in articulation with concepts management basics.
Editing an audiovisual pitching product using computer media will be the final step.

Teaching methodologies

Sessions will focus on discussion in plenary and/or small groups based on previous readings based on the expository and demonstrative method as well as on exercises from a practical and active perspective.
Case studies, viewing of audiovisual content and appropriate software are used with the use of presentation in pitching mode.

Demonstration of the teaching methodologies coherence with the curricular unit's intended learning outcomes

The teaching methodologies are in line with the learning objectives of the curricular unit in that it is intended to demonstrate, through the use of exercises and practical cases, to what extent the themes addressed in the teaching sessions are implemented in real contexts, with emphasis on for the evidence of its feasibility and foreseeing a greater and effective connection with the community and the work context.
The aim is to provide instruments that allow the exercise of privileged skills within the context of the unit, either individually or in groups, in order to guarantee an effective relationship between theory and practice, through the proposal of a business idea culminating in a pitching.
The use of teaching tools in a b-learning model also allows effective communication between teachers/students and students/students.
It will be a recurring practice to have individual tutorials whenever necessary.

Assessment methodologies and evidences

The Continuous Assessment.

The elements under evaluation relate to the objectives of the Curricular Unit, and students must demonstrate the skills acquired during the semester: ability to identify business opportunities, creative and critical attitude, understanding and application of concepts, production and presentation of pitching, levels of participation in the CU. These skills will be assessed through Practical Activities (PA's) developed during the semester in classes. The final grade will be calculated as follows:

Final Grade (FG) = Test (30%) + PA (70%)

The student obtains approval if FG is equal to or greater than 10 values.

In case the student does not pass the continuous assessment, he/she will be able to carry out a recovery assessment or a resource assessment.

RECOVERY or RESOURCE EVALUATION

NF = Exam (50%) + IW (50%)

Where IW corresponds to an Individual Work.

Attendance system

Class attendance required of 75%.

Continuous assessment assumes mandatory attendance, with a maximum percentage of absences of 25%. If they exceed this value, students are unable to carry out continuous assessment and recovery.
