dentify the processes of human development throughout the cycle vida.Caraterizar development patterns, physical, cognitive and psychosocial childhood and youth applying concepts, theories as well as the latest results of psychology research to understand and intervene with children and young people, their families and / or institutions which fall; Characterize development patterns, physical, cognitive and psychosocial the middle and late adulthood to understand and intervene in the adult and elderly population in family or institutional context. - Identify similarities and differences between children, youth and adults from different backgrounds and cultural perspectives as to how controem their identity and life projects. Identify your own behavior and that of others to reflect on their experiences and find meaning in demelhoramento perspective of their professional performance.

Syllabus

Point 1 - Human development as a constantly evolving field. The life cycle of the study since its inception with the formation of a new life to death. Developmental disorders. Diversity culture, influences and contexts of human development. theoretical perspectives and research methods.
Point 2 - The approach of social psychology to human development. Traditions in the study of human development. social stereotypes linked to the different stages of human development. Section 3 - Physical, cognitive and psychosocial development in the first, second and third childhood childhood. The development in adolescence and early adulthood.
Section 4 - Physical, cognitive and psychosocial development in adult, middle and late age. challenges of marriage and parenthood. Reconciling family life and relationship with the world of work.

Teaching methodologies

Starting from a reference manual that serves as a script to all classes in each class are presented and discussed practical learning materials mainly in video in order to make learning more meaningful.
Discussions in class group of the material presented is intended to link between the theoretical view of human development with the experience and particular knowledge of each student
