Objectives, competences and learning Outcomes
The Voice Disorders course aims to give students a thorough knowledge regarding vocal disorders / diseases covering the life cycle of human beings. Includes formal and informal procedures for assessment, diagnosis and therapy, emphasizing contexts known practices based on scientific evidence. This course is intended to develop theoretical, practical and clinical research skills in students, related to aspects of the intervention in the area of spoken and sung voices, on evaluation and treatment and using specific techniques and materials.

Teaching and Learning Strategies
The teaching methodology will be theoretical and practical tutorial, based on pre-programmed readings. It is intended that the lessons also have a component with particular emphasis on clinical practice.

Assessment
The evaluation of the course will be done through two processes: attitude in the classroom (i.e., attendance, punctuality and participation) - 20%; execution of a work - 40% and a written test - 40%.
