Objectives, competences and learning Outcomes
Module I - Spoken Voice
The Vocal Technique course in spoken voice module aims to develop students' practical skills to use vocal techniques in the re/habilitation of the spoken voice in professional and non-professional voice users, with specific scientific evidence. It intend to explore the capabilities of each individual student to the understanding and implementation of clear vocal techniques to improve patient vocal performance.
Module II – Sung Voice
The Vocal Technique course in sung voice module aims to develop students' practical approach to the voice quality of various musical styles. Students must experiment specific vocal techniques in sung voice to achieve possible improvements of this type of voice, through specific work directed to its flexibility, rich timbre and extension to an artistic repertoire more effective.

Teaching and Learning Strategies
Taking into account the objectives and content of this course, the theoretical and practical components were integrated, by practice observation, repetition, trial and correction through various biofeedback techniques.

Assessment
Modules evaluation will consist in a practical assessment on the implementation of certain techniques, an evaluation by student on study case, which the student must perform the technique to use, must should know how to guide the patient through appropriate procedures. The relevance (clinical/science evidence) and the choices made by the student will be assessed too.
Module I:
• Practical test - performance of four techniques - 25%
• Written work about application of vocal techniques in a study case, with justification based on clinical practice evidence - 25%
Module II:
• multiple-choice written test - 25%
• Performance techniques applied to the repertoire: 25%
