Teaching methodologies

There will be selected teaching strategies that encourage the acquisition / deepening of knowledge by students, based on a research paper, reflection and analysis, guided and supported on the theoretical and practical teaching sessions and tutorials. Having underlying this philosophy, it is intended that students reflect on specialized clinical skills necessary to intervene in the community in various contexts.
The evaluation of the course is realized through a moment of formal assessment consisting in designing a project for community intervention in the prevention, protection and promotion of health in a given context. The form of assessment will be presented and discussed with the students in the first class. Students who do not obtain a grade equal to or higher than 10 are under examination. Students can also opt for assessment by examination as school calendar.

Each student being co-responsible for their learning is expected, on their part, a continuous reflection throughout their training process in order to develop the necessary skills for the design, management and evaluation of community intervention projects within the prevention, protection and health promotion in partnership with other institutions in the community, taking into account the different contexts.
