Objetives
- Promote clinical skills development in perioperative nursing settings.
- Training for use of proper techniques of perioperative nursing.
- Promote the development of clinical skills and decision-making on nursing ethics in the perioperative nursing environment.
- Applies the project methodology , identifying all phases

Syllabus

- Realization a clinical learning in a perioperative unit
- Perioperative nurses duties and activities Scrub, anesthesia and circulating nurse
- Analysis the identified problem and its relevance for care improvement
- Support for the Project development
- Nursing Information Systems.
- CIPEE Taxonomy and its application in perioperative nursing.
- Cncept of Care Supervision.
- Decision and Process for Clinical Nursing.
- The clinical decision and the decision nursing ethics and its application in perioperative nursing.
- Learning / skills Development of initial nursing assessment, diagnosis, nursing planning, interventions and outcomes and assessment in perioperative environment, with people and their families undergoing surgery and/or anesthetics acts

Demonstration of the syllabus coherence with the UC intended learning outcomes

Internship in the context of clinical practice in perioperative environment, guided by expert nurse and
perioperative nursing faculty supervision.
Group sessions for analysis problematic situations experienced on stage.
During the internship, students must develop an intervention project in order to respond a problem of practice.
