As results of learning is expected that the student:
• Prove a high level of understanding of the principles of research and scientific evidence.
• Assess the use of appropriate methodologies to the problem and research objectives.
• Develop practical exercises with project methodology.
• Conduct research of scientific evidence following the methodology of evidence-based practice.
• Systematize the main evidence based on evidence results about the different areas of research.
• Promote the dissemination of research findings in nursing.

Demonstration of the syllabus coherence with the UC intended learning outcomes
The approach of the topics presented allows the master student to deepen, understand, analyze, reflect and apply the different concepts of research regarding the research process in its various stages, the development and application of the principles of design methodology and also the concepts and guidance on evidence in nursing. All these aspects contribute to the development of the student in particular and teams in general, promoting evidencebased practice.
Teaching methodologies
Expository-participatory method and small group discussions, particularly in tutorials
Use of e-learning to complement other methodologies.
Continuous assessment:
- Conduct an integrative or systematic review (teamwork, maximum 3 students)
- Produce article from the review.
The final grade is the arithmetic average of the results from the two time points.
Assessment by examination:
- Strengthen the work on continuous assessment presenting systematic or integrative review and respective article.
- Written Individual test
Demonstration of the teaching methodologies coherence with the curricular unit's intended learning outcomes
This course has the goal of a specialized clinical praxis based on valid standards of knowledge, so it is expected that the student demonstrate a high level of understanding of the principles of research and scientific evidence, evaluate the use of research methodologies appropriate to the problem and goals, so it is necessary to provide classes for systematization and presentation of content, focuse on questions from students, to promote reflection and interconnection of the content.
Exercises to develop application with the project methodology to properly utilize the guidelines in the search for scientific evidence, systematizing the main results based on evidence about the different research areas, promoting the dissemination of research findings in nursing, it is chosen to classes theoretical and practical enabling work in small groups, applying the principles taught to articles analysis and development of practical exercises applying different techniques.
We add tutorial classes that serve to guide small group reflection and development of required assessment tools. All these types of classes are supported by the use of Moodle, or other e-learning platforms which are placed all supporting materials supplied.
Assessment methodologies and evidences
