Syllabus1 - Situations of Exception and Catastrophe
Demonstration of the syllabus coherence with the UC intended learning outcomesThe contents of this course unit focussing on the development of knowledge about special situations and disaster relief in particular in clarifying conceptual aspects and in the analysis of situations that allow the definition of intervention strategies by the nurses, integrated into multidisciplinary teams. The importance still lies in the analysis of the impact of special situations and disaster relief, as well as in the management of the different stages.
Teaching methodologiesIt is suggested a model of student-centered teaching and in the group, which focuses on the sharing of perspectives in the analysis of situations, vis-à-vis the goals defined. It is intended that the methodology will lead to the development of critical-reflexive student capacity in the design of strategic plans as a team, that can give special emphasis to the adequacy of the knowledge, leadership, initiative and creativity.
