Demonstration of the syllabus coherence with the UC intended learning outcomes
Infection associated to health care is an infection acquired by patients as a consequence of care and health procedures performed and which can also affect the health professionals during the exercise of their activity (DGS, 2007). Thus it is important to develop a set of skills in specialist nurses in medical-surgical nursing, towards reducing the incidence of this type of infection, compounded by the fact the person in critical condition have a greater susceptibility to microorganisms. The programmatic content defined for the CU are coherent with the learning objectives defined, allowing reconfigure them in clinical skills capable of assuring safe and quality care.
Teaching methodologies
The teaching methodologies preconized for this curricular unit focus on the student and the learning objectives defined.
Shall be applied to the lecture method to the point 3 of programmatic content and from the point 4 shall be used preferentially group work, analysis of legislation and the reflection on the concrete situations of clinical practice of students.
Demonstration of the teaching methodologies coherence with the curricular unit's intended learning outcomes
It is intended that teaching be student-centered, using for such methodologies which lead to reflection and to the development of cognitive processes, decision making and problem solving. In order to effectuate the independente student work, which corresponds to more than half the course load of the CU, the proposed methodology seeking involves him in his learning process, with the state that are coherence with the learning objectives. The evaluation methodology aims to bring together all subject, by proposing the construction of a plan for the prevention and control of infection of a specific need that the student identify in the context of clinical practice. Is also looking the analysis surrounding the legal and scientific evidence on the grounds of clinical decision making.
Assessment methodologies and evidences
