Demonstration of the syllabus coherence with the UC intended learning outcomes
The contents are in line with the objectives of the curricular unit, once departing from the rehabilitation process and the process of adaptation to deficiency. Allow an approach to international classification of functionality, as well as the legal framework and technical standards, and accessibility barriers associated with the socio-cultural approach of rehabilitation, in addition to allowing disabled citizens look at the health care system and social security. The conceptual rehabilitation nursing framework allows you to situate us in the specificity of rehabilitation nursing care.
The contents are subsidiaries for the acquisition of two competencies of nurse specialist:
-Cares for people with special needs throughout the lifecycle, in all contexts of nursing practice;
-Enables the person with disabilities, and activity limitation or participation restriction for reinsertion and exercise of citizenship.
Teaching methodologies
Teaching-learning methodologies used will be developed in participative lessons sessions, discussions and debates. Focus on the students it should be predominantly active, allowing a clear and systematic exposition and discussion of the contents, the link with their prior knowledge and the strengthening of the new aspects. Recourse to techniques that promote the exhibition and exploration of the subject and the reflection and discussion. The resources used will be agreed in advance with students or researching.
Continuous assessment will include a proof of individual writing and group work evaluation, presentation in class.
Demonstration of the teaching methodologies coherence with the curricular unit's intended learning outcomes
In order to analyse the impact of the rehabilitation process and adaptation to disability, is expected to use to participative lessons, using strategies that promote reflection and debate supported in the analysis of appropriate documents.
To understand the evolution of the concepts and terms of the International Classification of Functioning is expected to appeal to WHO sources where the model is explained, followed by discussion of the subject. The understanding of the social and legal framework of rehabilitation and citizens with disabilities leads to consult national and international legislative sources, policies and programs that target people with disabilities, but also creating quality living environments. The seminar is a planned methodology for the study and discussion of the topic.
Analysis of the Conceptual framework which involves the provision of nursing care rehabilitation leads to the specialty that falls within the context of nursing care is highlighting the gains for the citizen. The language depicts the theoretical models underlying the rehabilitative care. Through the expository and participatory sessions, as well as the far-emerging debate will became understandable this branch of nursing.
Assessment methodologies and evidences
Continuous assessment will include a proof of individual writing and group work evaluation, presentation in class.
