Learning outcomes
Understand the theoretical foundations of the curricular unit;
Acquire and develop skills to work in group;
Learn about the organization and functioning of libraries, specifically of the CRAI-Resource Centre for learning and research at the school of health of the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal;
Use information and communication technologies;
Learn to structure a literature review;
Search in databases;
Learn about different ways of referencing bibliographic and electronic documents;
Learn Reference bibliographic sources according to various standards;
Use the Moodle platform;
Learn to elaborate a written work;
Meet the General requirements of papers submission;
Prepare an Health Education Session, with appropriate theoretical bases, structure and references;

Rules and structure of the bibliographical research;

The program content meets the defined objectives.
Its comprehensiveness and deepening stem from the debate and questioning of students.
Teaching methodologies
In agreement with the study plan the UC, has 2 ECTS and takes place in the 1st semester of the 1st year over 7 weeks. It has 54 hours in which 14 hours correspond to the individual work of the student, and the remaining 40 hours correspond to the contact hours of the teaching component, distributed temporally and by methodological strategy as follows:
• 10h Theoretical (10h T) - Expositive / interactive methodology;
• 10h Seminar (10h S) - Topics of relevant importance;
• 10h Theoretical-practical (10h T / P) - Experiential learning;
• 10h Tutorial Orientation (10h OT) - Practical exercises.

Demonstration of the teaching methodologies coherence with the curricular unit's intended learning outcomes
This curricular unit has a final examination regime.
For dismissal of final exam, the student must obtain approval (minimum grade of 9.5 values) in continuous evaluation, with the following activity: Group work and Presentation of Work in class.
In case of unaccomplished continuous evaluation, the student enrolls in exam, done through written test.

Frequency (100% of the evaluation - the student just obtain approval with a minimum grade of 9.5 values)
