1. Bioethics - rationale and main theoretical models. Transdisciplinary themes and bioethical issues.
3. Bioethics and the beginning of life.
4. Bioethics and the end of life.
5. The body and death. organ and tissue transplantation. Donation inter vivos and post-mortem.
5 The person and the development of biotechnologies.
6 Bioethics and mental health.
7 Experimentation on humans. Clinical trials.
8 Animal Experimentation.
9 Bioethics and public policies.

Teaching methodologies
Expository, participatory and reflective. Dynamic research and reflection

The methodologies, recurring to lectures, movies, work groups, are centered in students development and, because themes gather interest, are about reflection supervision and facilitate the arguments are con-arguments in the discourse.
Assessment methodologies and evidences
Continuous:
1. Working groups analysis of opinions. Placement on the platform.
Presentation and discussion sessions Semester. Weighting 35%.
2. Individual or small group (maximum two students) analysis of a theme - using literature review and the scientific article format. Theme chosen from the contents of the UC.
Delivered in electronic format, via Moodle. Weighting 65%.
