Demonstration of the syllabus coherence with the UC intended learning outcomesThe general objectives of the curricular units (UC) of Education for Practice are aimed at developing skills in the speech therapist's areas of intervention in a real internship context.

Demonstration of the teaching methodologies coherence with the curricular unit's intended learning outcomesStudents involved in services and institutions in the surrounding community should implement training actions, workshops, group sessions in the scope of prevention, evaluation, intervention and counseling in the areas of intervention of Speech Therapy. The implementation of these actions, previously programmed and resulting from an initial diagnosis carried out in previous curricular units, should be autonomous, but supervised by a cooperating educator and guided by a professor responsible for the project. In this course, students develop communicative skills and attitudes of a professional nature, problem solving and group discussion. At the end of this curricular unit, students are asked to demonstrate knowledge and practical procedures in the implementation of training actions with the target population, to be able to write an action research project, as well as its presentation at a conference.
