a. Develop assessment and intervention skills in the area of voice disorders
b. Name, describe and select evaluation methods and techniques in vocal disorders.
c. Properly apply evaluation tasks, in situations of simulated practice
d. Adapt verbal and non-verbal behavior during the application of role-play evaluation tests
e. Interpret the results of the evaluation in order to plan the intervention
f. Plan the appropriate intervention to each user using methodologies, techniques and intervention strategies
g. Justify decision-making by demonstrating clinical reasoning and reporting
h. Execute intervention sessions with adequate selection of objectives and techniques
i. Apply appropriate methodologies, techniques and intervention strategies to each user in situations of simulated practice
j. Develop instruments of intervention in the vocal area
Syllabus
I. Evaluation of vocal parameters and acoustic measurements
II. Use and mastery of the application of evaluation tasks.
III. Analysis and interpretation of the data obtained in the evaluation.
IV. Planning of the intervention appropriate to the profile of each user.
V. Use and mastery of vocal techniques and strategies: body alignment, respiratory support, tone modulation, frequency modulation, intensity modulation, resonance and linked speech techniques
VI. Definition and application of Methodologies, and Vocal Health Programs

The curricular unit of Voice Tools and Techniques contributes to the learning of assessment and intervention techniques in the area of voice. It allows students to make a practical application of the knowledge acquired in other curricular units of the study plan. Its contents include the knowledge, selection and application of evaluation methodologies and tools, the critical integration of information obtained and the application of models and intervention techniques in voice.

To respond to learning objectives focused on knowledge, understanding and application of techniques and instruments, recourse to expository classes, demonstration and simulated practice.
The accomplishment of exercises and the practical demonstration of the techniques of evaluation and voice intervention, allows the student to evaluate on the one hand the knowledge on the other the application of the techniques.
