According to the Statutes of the ESS-IPS, the Unit for Internationalization (U-Inter) has been created. This is a transversal unit, which aims to contribute to the strategic development of the School through the promotion of international activities, as well as the overall coordination and dissemination of international activities within the school, doing so together with the Board of the School.
The objectives of this unit are:
1 – To promote the schools’ international strategic development, in articulation with the departments, other units and the Board of the School;
2 – To articulate the international projects of the school in order to guarantee that its strategic objectives are met;
3 – To facilitate and promote the development of partnerships and international network
4 – To summarise the information related to the different aspects of internationalization and mobility, namely individual mobility of students, teachers and non teaching staff, international projects (excluding those research based); short term internationalization initiatives.
5 – To articulate with IPS Mobility and International central Office towards the implementation of all activities.
In addition, the U-Inter should work in collaboration with other units or structures of the other Schools, under the orientation of the Board. The Unit is coordinated by a Lecturer, appointed by the Dean, and represents the School in the Central International Office of IPS (CIMOB-IPS), in strict accordance with the Board.
