The student will be able to design a building management system coherent with the specificities of each case, taking into account the technical constraints and the appropriate functional specifications. In addition, it will be able to distinguish between building management systems and domotic systems, being able to specify the latter for different types of housing needs

Functional specifications of an BMS;
Rational use of energy;
Command, control and supervision;
Integration of systems (strategies and technologies);
Technical specifications of an BMS;

Domotics as a particular case of an BMS;
Functional specifications of a home automation system;
Technical specifications of a home automation system;
Demonstration of the syllabus coherence with the UC intended learning outcomes
a) Theoretical classes: Exposition method and interactive demonstration;
b) Practical classes: Development of a project of a building management system.
