• Know, understand and apply key tools of human resource management in organizations, and interpret their interrelationships - the functions of HRM
• Characterize potential developments and new challenges in the area of people management - managing change and stress in organizations; perspectives and current trends in HRM
Teaching methodologies
Using a participatory approach, this course will be a discussion area where you can cross the experiences and professional knowledge of the participants and teachers.
Will cover both the theoretical framework of themes, such as instrumental aspect of practical application through case studies.
Evaluation trough written tests and group-work
Demonstration of the teaching methodologies coherence with the curricular unit's intended learning outcomes
The realization of written tests aims that students maintain a pace of regular study and work, and is aimed at learning theoretical concepts. The resolution of case studies allows discussion and consolidation of theoretical concepts.
The achievement of group work (project) allows them to research a topic of their interest and is directed to a more applied nature of learning
Assessment methodologies and evidences
Continuous assessment presupposes the attendance of classes and regular / systematic preparation of the student.
Students will have to attend a frequency of 75% of the classes, by typology, to carry out continuous evaluation, with lower frequency of the exam.
Elements of continuous assessment:
2 tests, -50% of final grade, whose average must be equal to or greater than 9.5.
Dates: 1st test - 09 April 2019, 2nd test -11 June 2019
Practical work done in class - 20% of final grade
Final Group Work (TGF) - 30% of final grade, delivery June 18, 2019.
Improvement of grade is only allowed at the time of appeal, upon enrollment in the Academic Division.

Observations
The semester consists of 20 weeks, 15 lessons and 5 preparation and evaluation. The weekly practical hours comprise 2 hours theoretical-practical (2TP) and 2 practical hours (2P) o, which after 15 teaching weeks total 60 hours. Autonomous hours of work total 94, and the hours of evaluation 5h. The workload obtained is 159 hours, obtaining a total of 159 h / 27 = 6 ECTS.
