Teaching methodologies

Theoretical-practical classes with exposition of the subject and resolution of exercises that aim at
consolidation of the knowledge acquired.

Laboratory classes, where practical work is carried out to allow an experimentation
of the subjects taught in theoretical classes.

Assessment methodologies and evidences

The Final Grade will be obtained based on the formula:

Final Grade = 60% Theoretical Exam or Average of 2 Tests + 40% Reports of Practical Laboratory Activities

The minimum grade in the Theoretical Exam or in the Average of 2 Tests is 8 (eight) values.

The minimum grade in the Reports of Practical Laboratory Activities is 9.5 (nine point five) values. It may not deliver only one report, otherwise it will fail the laboratory component.

The delivery of the reports of the Practical Laboratory Activities should be done up to 15 days after the conclusion of the work. The delay in the delivery of reports implies a penalty of 0.5 Values per day of delay, up to a maximum of 15 days.

Attendance system

Approval in continuous assessment implies a minimum attendance of 75%.
