Intended learning outcomes (Knowledges, skills and competencies to be developed by the students)

Promote understanding of the importance of law as an important part of the intervention of organizations;
Know and understand the main laws that involve organizations and their dynamics, the different levels and branches of law involved, and research, analyze and interpret legislation and sources of law applicable to companies and organizations.

Syllabus

1. Notion of Law and State. State organs and their legislative acts. The sources of law, its mode of production and validity. The Legal Relationship.

2. Commercial law. The act of commerce and the merchant. Companies law.

3. Labor Law. The sources of this branch of Law. Notion of employee, employer and labour contract. Modalities of labour contract, its regime and content.

4. Consumers right. Notion of consumer and product. Guarantees of consumer contracts. Producer's liability.

Teaching methodologies

Expositive method in the first class. In the following classes, the contents are taught through the resolution of practical cases; it seeks to promote the intervention of the masters and the handling of legal diplomas.
