Objetivos de aprendizagem

The module of Organizational Behavior, aims to develop a set of skills that enable students to:

- Understand the factors underlying different organizational behaviors and the potential consequences;
- Analyse, identify and act on the factors that determine different behavior in the workplace.

3. Organizational dynamics
3.1. Culture, climate and organizational change
3.2. Person-organization fit
3.3. Ethical behavior in organizations
3.4. Transcultural aspects of organizational behavior


Teaching Procedures

An active method will be used in the classes, based on case studies and role-playing exercises.

The methods used aim to provide a set of methods and tools that allow students to, first, understand the behavior of individuals and groups within organizations and their influence on the success of these and, secondly, identify and implement positive strategies that affect individual and group behavior in the workplace.

Thus, this module contributes to the development of the following skills:
-Understand the importance of organizational behavior;
-Describe the complexity of interpersonal relations in organizations;
-Explain how the variables of individual, group and organizational systems, influence the success of organizations;
-Create strategies to manage behavioral variables that determine organizational success.

The assessment includes a written test and on-going classroom exercises and e-learning.
