Demonstration of the teaching methodologies coherence with the curricular unit's intended learning outcomes

There are theoretical and practical classes. However, in every theoretical class a space is created for theoretical contents application. The lecture method is used to introduce the theoretical concepts regarding the accounting conceptual framework and the participatory method for reflection on the various situations and operations related to the accounting standards being studied. These methods are also used in problem solving and discussing cases, encouraging interaction with real situations.
The individual mini-test and test seek to measure the capacity for themes reflection and exposition; and the level of knowledge obtained about them and respective practical articulation.

Assessment methodologies and evidences

The assessment can be carried out by two assessment processes: (i) Continuous Assessment and (ii) Assessment by Exam. Continuous Assessment is the process aimed primarily at students who have attended school activities. Exam evaluation is the evaluation process for students who have not taken or have not passed the continuous evaluation.
The elements of continuous assessment will be: 1 written test and 1 group work.
The elements of assessment by exam will be: 1 written test.
The evaluation of knowledge is made through written tests/exams and a group work. In this way, the students knowledge is evaluated through the theoretical concepts and situation analysis, on the one hand, and on the other through the solution of practical situations with the support of exercises and through the group work.
