Intended learning outcomes (Knowledges, skills and competencies to be developed by the students)
• Organize the health, hygiene and safety service, taking into account the existing legal framework;
• Identify the hazards and assess the risk factors at work and understand their effects on the
workers' health;
• Know and understand the objectives, conditions and means of prevention and protection of
hygiene, health and safety at work;
• Organize, plan, design and implement internal emergency plans;
• Implement safety and health management systems at work (OHSAS 18001 / NP 4397).

1. Hygiene, health and safety in the context of human resources management

1.2. The legal framework of health and safety at work.

2. Hygiene and safety at work
2.1. Basic concepts of hygiene and safety at work.
2.2. Identify and evaluate risk factors at work.
2.3. The causes and consequences of accidents.
2.4. Risk assessment methodologies for elimination / reduction.
2.5. Measures of individual and collective protection.
2.6. Plans for the prevention of accidents at work.

3. The internal emergency plans

Teaching methodologies
In the theoretical classes, the expository method and the interrogative method are privileged.
In practical classes the emphasis goes to the use of demonstrative and active methods.
Demonstration of the teaching methodologies coherence with the curricular unit's intended learning outcomes
- Continuous evaluation:
The continuous evaluation is intended for students who wish to attend classes regularly and the evaluation of knowledge consists of the following:
• A group work (50%);
• Individual written test (50%).
In the written test the grade can not be less than 10 values (inclusive). In the practical work the classification obtained can also not be less than 10 values.
Final evaluation:
There are three epochs of final evaluation:
Normal Season | 1st season (intended for students who did not opt for continuous assessment).
The evaluation is constituted by:
• The evaluation consists in the accomplishment of an individual written test (100%) for the students who did not opt for the continuous evaluation.
Resource Season | 2nd season (it is intended for students who did not or did not obtain use in the normal time or in the continuous evaluation)
The evaluation system is the same as in the final evaluation of the Normal Season.
Special Season:
The evaluation system is the same as in the Resource Season.
Attendance system
Continuous evaluation:
Final grade - test: 50% + practical work: 50%.
Normal Season :
Final Grade: Test: 100%.
Resource Season:
Final Grade: Test: 100%.
Special Season:
Final Grade: Test: 100%.
