the business environment.

Syllabus
Macroeconomics in the global context
Theories of International trade
The multilateral trade system
Foreign direct investment
Globalization and international competitiveness
Demonstration of the syllabus coherence with the UC intended learning outcomes
The syllabus aims to cover the different aspects of global economics attending to those items, particularly that
influence entrepreneurial performance in the global world.
Teaching methodologies
Using participatory and expository method for introduction of theoretical concepts;
Analysis, discussion and case presentations by students.
The assessment comprises:
- Individual written test individual - 50%
- Essay – 50%
Demonstration of the teaching methodologies coherence with the curricular unit's intended learning outcomes
Teaching methodologies applies to the student’s participation through discussion of case studies, and implies
the explanation of economics concepts related to internationalization and competitiveness.
