To inform the general concepts of hazard and risk and the qualitative and quantitative evaluation models most significant risks.

Concepts relating to the hazard identification and risk assessment process
 Methodologies and hazard identification techniques

- Specialized technical information; - List of raw materials
- Intermediate products; - By-products; - Waste and final products
- Labeling and safety data sheets of chemicals
- Absenteeism lists; - Occupational diseases, etc.)
- Legislation
 assessment methodologies of risks by:
- Sector; - Type of risk, profession; - Operation
- Component Material work, etc.); - Legislation
 Methodologies and hazard identification techniques in the design phase
 Qualitative and quantitative techniques for risk estimation
 inductive and deductive analysis techniques applied to the risks
 Criteria and benchmarks set out notably in legislation, standards, codes of good practice for occupational risks
- Values concentration limit; - Biological indicators of exposure;
- Statistical indicators of accidents and occupational diseases;
- Explosivity index; - Maximum permissible pressures; - Safety voltages, etc.


Teaching Procedures

28 Contact hours (in class), 60 hours for practical work and 21 hours of study to conduct a written evaluation. This corresponds to 4 ECTS defined for this course.
