Objectives
The degree in Informatics Engineering seeks to train specialists who combine a good knowledge level with a
good practical component aiming their rapid integration into the labor market. The outputs include professional
organizations ofvarious sectors. The work area is information systems, software development and
maintenance, ITsupport, multimedia production, management, configuration and operation ofcomputer networks and data bases.
The skills are divided into 1) basic: knowing how to communicate and find solutions to technical and
professional problems, optimize resources and drive and/or participate in teamwork, 2) specific: knowing how
to analyze problems and build computational solutions, knowing to install, maintain and audit computer systems,
3) branches: knowing how to analyze, design and develop information systems in MI-on organizational
management support; II-on industrial systems; SE-on software projects. |
