Objectives:

Seeks to develop interdisciplinary approaches to central issues related to the balance between material well-being and not material and how each one applies the ethical values to daily practice through conscientious participation in the market.
It also seeks to bring together experts in the fields of citizenship, environment and consumer education so that they can in the future, develop research and good practice in teaching and promoting citizenship education of the consumer.
Through its focus on social responsibility, CCN2 seeks to increase international concern through the implementation of norms and behaviors that can support cooperation and sustainable development.

Synthesis:

The Consumer Citizenship Network (CCN) is an interdisciplinary network of educators, researchers and civil society organizations that recognize the urgent need for constructive action of individuals in order to achieve sustainable consumption and global solidarity.
The Network is working to develop dialogue and debate, research, analysis skills, teaching materials and guidelines of learning, annual conferences, research publications, reports, presentations, databases of relevant literature, newsletters, website; courses and dissemination of results to a wider audience.
